# FAQ

## Is this a token?

No. It's a note: an agreement that Eiva Receivables 1 Ltd owes you principal plus fixed interest. Nothing is minted. See [What you hold](/what-you-hold.md).

## Can I get my money out early?

From Open, yes, at any time: instantly for a 1% fee, or as invoices settle for 0.25%. From the 6 and 12 month notes, yes, with 45 days' notice. See [Withdrawals and redemptions](/withdrawals-and-redemptions.md).

## Can I compound my interest?

Yes. Autocompounding is optional on every note and off by default: each month's interest is added to your principal instead of being paid out, and earns the note's rate from then on. See [Interest and repayment](/interest-and-repayment.md).

## Is the rate really fixed?

Yes. The 6 and 12 month rates are set when you sign and don't change for the life of the note. Open's rate is fixed for each 30 day period. See [Terms and rates](/terms-and-rates.md).

## What if a payer doesn't pay?

Your interest is unaffected. If the invoice is written down, the reserve takes the loss before your capital does. See [Settlement and late payment](/settlement-and-late-payment.md) and [The reserve](/the-reserve.md).

## Which stablecoins and networks?

USDC and USDT, on Ethereum, Solana, Robinhood Chain, Avalanche and BNB Smart Chain. \[Networks live at launch: Alpha] See [The vault](/the-vault.md).

## How do I check what the vaults are doing?

The ledger lists every transfer with the invoice it relates to, and the vault and reserve addresses are public. See [The ledger](/the-ledger.md).

## Is there a limit on deposits?

Yes. 250,000 USDC across all vaults at launch, rising as deployment grows. See [Deposit limit](/deposit-limit.md).

## Is interest paid before or after tax?

Gross. Nothing is deducted: tax is your own responsibility, wherever you live. See [Interest and repayment](/interest-and-repayment.md).

## Who can deposit?

\[Answer: solicitor]

## Can I deposit more than once?

\[Whether each deposit is a separate note with its own start date and schedule: Alpha]

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.eiva.money/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
